Research and Innovation

This project consists of a 5 storey research building, plus a 300 seat teaching theatre. The building structure is conventional reinforced concrete supported on end bearing piles. The total building area is approximately 15,000 m2 and the building is constructed over a full basement. Special attention was given to providing a “stiff” floor system that would accommodate specialized research equipment.
